The National Guard in Russia was created in 2016 by presidential decree. After this event, many experts in the media began to compare the new structure with a similar one in Ukraine, created two years earlier. Due to the notoriety of the latter, this news was received ambiguously.

But in the end, the situation returned to normal and the name "Rosguard" was assigned to the guard. It is currently used on television. The structure was created to protect the rule of law in the state and perform special tasks. If you are interested in how to get into the service of the Russian Guard, then below you will find the necessary information.

Tasks of the National Guard

The National Guard has one peculiarity - it is personally subordinate to the President of Russia. Its tasks are simple: conducting special anti-terrorist operations in all regions of the country, protecting borders and critical infrastructure facilities, joint activities with other military structures to protect the integrity and ensure law and order in the country. The high efficiency of accomplishing the assigned tasks is achieved through centralized coordination of actions. This means the removal of regional departments from the management function. Due to this, the speed of response to threats is increased, and in most cases the necessary secrecy is ensured.

Primary requirements

There are many applicants and they ask the same question: “How to get into the Russian Guard under a contract?” To enter the contract service, a citizen must be of age and have citizenship of the Russian Federation. Priority is given to persons who served in the border troops, the army and law enforcement agencies, who have a complete family (father and mother) and positive recommendations from various places of study. If a person has not previously served, then he must have an “A” fitness category. The maximum age allowed for entry into the service is 31 years. Such data as gender, nationality, race, material condition, origin and position in society, religion are not taken into account.

How to get into the Russian Guard for a girl?

Girls can enter the service in the same way as men - after passing the necessary examinations and tests.

Those wishing to join the ranks of the National Guard will have to pass a test of physical strength. It will consist of pull-ups on the horizontal bar at least 30 times, passing an obstacle course for a while and a test for shooting accuracy.

How to get into the National Guard by conscription?

On call, they pass in the same way as in a regular army. It all depends on the conscript. But there are differences between the guards and the army, of course. The quality of food in the latter is better, but in the new structure there is faster career growth, and wages for employees in it will be 10 times higher than for conscripts. So to the question of how to get into the Russian Guard, you can answer that you should choose the desired type of troops, go through research and wait for an answer. Identity verification can take several months.

For more information on how to get into the National Guard and the army, it is advisable to contact the military registration and enlistment office in the city where you live.

Additional checks

Every person who wants to get into the National Guard must undergo psychophysical examinations, which are aimed at detecting signs of past drug use. A citizen must also undergo psychological testing. It is required in order to determine whether a person has the qualities necessary for service in this structure. An employee of the National Guard of the Russian Federation should not have qualities that are dangerous to society, as well as incidents in the past that have negative consequences.

Professional suitability for work is determined by the results of the psychological selection. To do this, psychological, psychophysical and medical research is carried out, including those in which narrowly focused technical and medical devices and products are used.

Professional suitability is determined by the level of development of the personal qualities necessary for the performance of tasks and official obligations of an employee in the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the presence of any risk factors in a citizen.

Risk Factors Affecting Professional Suitability

People who in the past depended on alcohol and various toxic and psychotropic drugs, drugs, were participants in the illegal circulation of all of the above substances, as well as weapons, will not be able to get into the Russian Guard. People who previously engaged in prohibited activities together with illegal public associations in the country, as well as those who are prone to abuse of power and suicide, will not be able to do this. Also, a person will not be able to get into the National Guard if he was previously convicted, deliberately filled out questionnaires with false data, hid or distorted information about his financial situation.

Based on the results of verification of the submitted information, as well as on the medical report after passing the required examinations and psychological testing, the authorized leader decides whether to accept a citizen for service or not. He shall be notified of this in writing from the date of the decision.

Benefits and remuneration for military personnel

For those who want to get into the Russian Guard, it will be interesting to know that the salaries of employees in the structure will be higher than those of ordinary military men, both for privates and officers. The average private and sergeant is from 19 to 90 thousand rubles. Officers have a slightly higher salary - from 45 to 120 thousand rubles. The amount may vary by region. They will pay extra for special conditions of service and various risks. Such a high salary is associated with dangerous work, because the fighters of this structure will fight against all types and manifestations of the terrorist threat.

The servicemen of the Russian Guard have a number of benefits, like other military personnel, but with some additions. Each employee in the structure will be provided with housing, and children will be taken to educational institutions out of turn and on preferential terms. Also, in the event of the loss of a breadwinner during service, the family of the deceased will be included in a special program of assistance to the families of the National Guardsmen.

Powers of the Guards

Compared to other paramilitary structures, the fighters of the National Guard have a number of exclusive powers. For example, the ability to use weapons without warning is allowed only in cases where delay would cost the life of a soldier or civilian. If there is no such threat, then the fighter must first warn about the use of firearms. Armored vehicles and water cannons are allowed to be used only in emergency cases, such as repelling an attack or when freeing hostages. During street protests that have turned into riots, fighters have the right to use force, using rubber batons, gas grenades, handcuffs and equipment to destroy barriers. Also, employees can check documents, detain citizens for a period of not more than three hours and draw up protocols of administrative violations. While conducting counter-terrorist operations, the Russian Guard can restrict traffic, use citizens' cars and detain people who violated the curfew.

In 2016, the National Guard was formed in Russia. Now this organization has grown greatly, and it has tens of thousands of military personnel.

The troops are designed to ensure security within the state, to fight extremists and protesters.

You can often hear how the Russian Guard is called the "personal army" of the president, because. this structure is subordinate to the commander-in-chief, i.e. head of state. But is it really so?

Structure and powers

The structure includes the following special services:

  • SOBR;
  • OMON;
  • Federal State Unitary Enterprise "PROTECTION" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
  • Center for Special Purposes of Rapid Response Forces and Aviation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
  • Bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for supervision in the field of arms trafficking and private security activities;
  • National Guard.

Now the head of the structure is Viktor Zolotov, who has been personally working with the president for a long time.
This organization has a number of powers:

  1. Demand order from the population.
  2. Prevent the occurrence of crimes or infringement of the rights of citizens.
  3. Check the documents of the population if there is a reason to suspect people of committing illegal acts, being wanted, and other serious grounds.
  4. Demand from officials and the population to stop illegal actions.
  5. Protect the scene of the incident until the authorities arrive. Also, the guard may require citizens to leave the protected place.
  6. Accept, store or destroy seized/surrendered weapons.

These are only the main powers of the guard, and in fact its capabilities are much wider.

National Guard and police: what is the difference

In theory, each department should have its own specific name, and the functions of these organizations should not overlap.

However, the powers of the Russian Guard intersect with the activities of the police and the FSB (the fight against terrorism in the country and ensuring the integrity of the Russian Federation).

Representatives of the Russian Guard can drive cars with flashing lights. They are also allowed to use special equipment if necessary. Here are the main differences between this structure and the police:

  1. Subordination. The police are subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, while the troops of the Russian Guard are subordinate to the president of the country.
  2. Independence. In financial terms, the National Guard is an independent organization. It has all the financial functions of the police, and the annual turnover of the organization is about 20 billion. Also, the troops of the National Guard can control the circulation of weapons and are empowered to license security activities.
  3. Tasks. The police maintain order and apply sanctions to violators, then the guard is called upon to protect state integrity and order.
  4. The use of weapons. This is perhaps one of the main differences between the National Guard and the police. Employees of both structures have the right to use weapons. Only here in the law "On Police" it is clearly stated that the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs can use weapons in order to protect citizens, in case of encroachment on their health and life. This clause is absent in the law on the Russian Guard, which significantly expands the capabilities of this structure.

How to get a job

To get a job in the National Guard, you need to pass a number of requirements:

  1. Health status. After passing the examinations, the conscript in the military registration and enlistment office receives a health category (A-D). Those who are fit for service and fit for service with minor restrictions are accepted for service in the Russian Guard, i.e. people with A and B health categories.
  2. Psychological health. Also, future employees must undergo a psychological selection. Based on the selection results, a person is assigned 1 of 4 fitness categories. Basically, people with categories 1 and 2 are hired, in rare cases - 3. The last category is considered not recommended.
  3. Additional requirements. In addition to these requirements, the future employee must have a sufficient level of physical fitness, education and qualifications.
    Both civilians and military personnel can become guardsmen. To do this, you need to apply to the commander of the unit. He makes the decision to accept. If a person who wants to get into the guard has no contradictions for the service, he is given directions to undergo medical examinations, mental tests and pass physical fitness standards.

Salary

The salary of a guardsman depends on:

  • ranks and positions;
  • the amount of monetary allowances;
  • employee allowances;
  • material assistance to the guards.

Now the salary of an ordinary guardsman is 25,000 rubles a month, and an officer-rank guardsman earns about 55,000 rubles. These are averages and numbers may vary depending on the region of service.

It is important to note that in regions with adverse environmental and weather conditions, the salary of a guardsman is noticeably higher than the salary of an employee working in large cities.

To the complaints of military personnel about low wages, the command promises employees to significantly increase wages, but this will not happen soon.
It should be noted that Vladimir Putin recently increased funding for the National Guard, and military personnel can expect a salary increase of about 4-5% in the near future.

Benefits for military personnel

The guards themselves and their families have a number of state benefits:

  • health and life insurance;
  • free vacation;
  • receiving free medical services;
  • the possibility of obtaining a mortgage loan on preferential terms at a rate of less than 10%.

It is worth noting that the longer the service life of the guardsman, the better the benefits from the state. For example, an employee who has been in the service for less than 10 years will receive free rest for a period of 30 days. Employees over 20 years of age will be granted 45 days of rest. Also, the benefits are significantly affected by the personal merits of the employee: participation in hostilities, service in adverse conditions, etc.

The National Guard is a young structure that is developing at a tremendous pace. The organization was created only 3 years ago, and it already includes more than 350,000 employees (1/3 of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs). Therefore, joining the National Guard is a profitable and promising goal. However, it should be understood that there are certain requirements for the health of employees, so not everyone will be selected.

Rosgvardia is the popular name of the National Guard of the Russian Federation (VNG). The National Guard did not take root, obviously, because such a name exists in Ukraine. The word "Rosgvardia" came from the bottom and was officially fixed, this name is written on the uniform of the employees of the structure.

What is the National Guard

Officially, the decision to create the relevant structure was made by the President at the beginning of April 2016. Society reacted ambiguously to this fact. Especially when you consider that the ANG report directly to the President, and in 2018 the presidential elections were to be held. However, in reality, the divisions of the National Guard do not act as an appendage to the political force, but perform other functions.

The National Guard included already existing units that are subordinate to other power structures: internal affairs and the army. The purpose of the existence of the VNC is to ensure law and order and fight against terrorism, the problems are quite relevant. Russian Guard troops are distributed in the state in 8 districts.

The National Guard included:

  1. OMON.
  2. SOBR.
  3. Rapid reaction forces and aviation.
  4. Private security.
  5. Departments of licensing and permitting work (checking weapons).

Thus, the divisions of the National Guard carry out a variety of activities: from patrolling the streets and guarding residential and non-residential facilities to conducting the most complex anti-terrorist operations.

VNG are endowed with exclusive powers to carry out their functions: from checking documents to using special equipment and weapons.

Benefits of serving in the National Guard

As of 2019, the structure of the Russian Guard not fully developed. There is a phased implementation of the organizational merger of structures and their equipment.

Troops are trained in special centers where they are taught the basics of legislation, tactical special operations, forceful detention, use of special equipment and devices.

The advantages of service in the National Guard are:

  • Current material support. The salary of junior ranks is within 45 thousand rubles. monthly, senior officers receive many times more. In addition, additional payments are made for physical training (up to 9 thousand rubles), knowledge of foreign languages. Employees are paid bonuses, according to the allocated funding, they are given material assistance for recovery when they go on their next vacation. When performing tasks in other settlements, the National Guardsmen receive travel allowances and the necessary support.
  • Pension provision. National guardsmen have a retirement age: men - 50 years old, women - 45 years old. Service must be 20 years. The pension is increased, as in the internal affairs bodies. If there is a length of service, a person may retire from the National Guard earlier, without serving until the age limit.
  • Housing. For the National Guard there is a military mortgage. This allows them to purchase good housing for their families at the beginning of their service, and then pay off a soft loan. If the employee lives in rented housing, then appropriate monetary compensation is provided. So, in Moscow, the monthly payment is up to 15 thousand rubles.
  • Medical service. Employees of the VNG units are served in departmental hospitals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the army. These medical institutions are well provided with medicines and have comfortable conditions for free treatment. The same opportunities are provided to family members of employees.
  • prestige. If in the troubled 90s the attitude towards law enforcement agencies was extremely negative, then over time the prestige of service in law enforcement agencies is growing. Residents of the country have already felt the benefits of having the service of the National Guard, it has become calmer on the streets, safer.
  • Opportunity to serve the country to realize their potential and abilities. The divisions of the National Guard are very different from one another: both patrolmen and pilots serve here. Young people after serving in the army have the opportunity to implement the acquired skills. To do this, they are provided with all the conditions and opportunities.
  • Logistics while serving. The National Guard is provided with everything: weapons, equipment, fuel, special equipment. In addition, employees have the opportunity to train and develop skills at special training grounds and training grounds. The Russian Guardsmen are provided with protective equipment: body armor, helmets, a special uniform (Moss color with a three-dimensional pattern).

Disadvantages of serving in the National Guard

Service in the structures of the National Guard has negative aspects:

  • Danger of service. Employees are constantly exposed to risks to life and health, despite all the security measures taken. The number of dead, wounded and injured is decreasing every year, but each case is a tragedy. Employees receive not only physical damage, but also psychological trauma. Constant stress during the performance of official duties negatively affects health, including mental health.
  • Availability of business trips. The National Guard perform tasks where they are sent, and performing operations in other settlements is a common occurrence. At the same time, you have to leave your homes and families, postpone celebrations (for example, a wedding) and planned events (vacation). Doing duty comes first.
  • Restriction of freedom of speech. VNG employees do not participate in political activities, they do not conduct negative discussions on the Internet and in the media. They are obliged to serve the Fatherland ideologically and support the lawfully acting government.
  • High service requirements. National Guard employees must be in good physical shape. They regularly pass standards both in the ability to wield weapons and in physical training. For many divisions, sport is a way of life, training is mandatory and daily. The National Guard learn the legislation by heart and, if necessary, can quote it. So, security units, before entering the service, pass a test for knowledge of the necessary legislation.
  • High requirements for mental stability. National Guardsmen are required to have a strong psyche, to be able to interact not only with colleagues, but also with citizens. In addition, they are prohibited from exceeding the required level of force.

Thus, service in the National Guard is an opportunity for young people to serve the Motherland.

In 2016, military commissariats had to refuse conscription to 40,000 Russians, writes KP.ru.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced this on April 1. And this was not a joke: in the army special forces today there is a competition - 20 people per place.

And this week everyone learned that the National Guard appeared in Russia. And the editorial office of Komsomolskaya Pravda was bombarded with calls: how to get into the National Guard? And how much will they pay? We asked the head of the press service of the Internal Troops, Vasily Panchenkov, to answer questions from readers. He represents exactly the unit on the basis of which the National Guard will be created.

1. How many guards will there be?

They also call us with such questions. Most often - already acting law enforcement officers from the regions. They are interested in whether they will enter the National Guard.

- And what do you answer?

The media are now giving different figures: they say, the National Guard will have 400, 350, 300 thousand employees. I think that we should wait for the adoption of the law on the National Guard, which is now under consideration in the State Duma. It is still difficult to say what structure of troops will be approved.

- What if they decide that it is enough, well, let's say, 200 thousand?

Then, clearly, no one will recruit more than the current number, and, perhaps, we should even expect cuts. Some may leave due to age or health reasons. We have to wait for a decision.

2. Preference is given to conscripts or contractors?

A few years ago, in the cordon, I noticed thin little soldiers of the Internal Troops - are they really going to be recruited into the National Guard too?

So what to do? In the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of contract soldiers for the positions of soldiers and sergeants was established - at least 80%. The rest are conscripts. This mixed system persisted until the last days. 20% of the fighters came to our units from the draft board. They were considered by a separate commission and the brigade commander. After military service, the best of them were already selected for contract service. First, contractors are taken on a trial period, and then a contract is concluded with them.

3. Are the requirements for candidates high?

- What are your recruiting requirements?

The candidate must be a citizen of Russia, have a permanent place of residence, serve in the border troops or the Ministry of Internal Affairs, be physically and mentally healthy, preferably under the age of 31. Preference is given to young men from complete families who have not been brought to the police, have not used drugs (tests show this), and have positive characteristics from school and sports clubs. After the service, they return home, and some come to the commander and ask to stay on the contract. I think such requirements will continue for recruitment to the National Guard.

“Is it really possible to recruit a whole brigade like that?”

The Sofrino brigade of the Internal Troops is equipped in this way, 80% of its composition are contract soldiers.

- It is already clear that the requirements for the guardsmen will be high, but what can they count on?

Married people will receive service housing, children will be placed in kindergartens and schools. This is all clearly done.

By the way

Ready for work, defense and "beating"

The National Guard will include various detachments of OMON and SOBR, the selection conditions for which are associated with established traditions. The units "Vympel", "Vityaz", "Peresvet", "Rus", "Bison", "Vyatich", and many other units, which were also part of the State Drug Control Service, could only be entered after a serious physical test. The candidate needs:

Pull up at least 25 times

Run the assault strip for a while

Shoot accurately, and then spar in hand-to-hand combat with the most trained fighters in the squad.

Such tests are called in the spetsnaz by tapping. It is very difficult, even almost impossible, to emerge victorious from them, but some manage to show character. He becomes the hallmark of the future fighter.

Who will enter the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and who will join the guards?

Police

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (at the moment) - 975,700 people.

Certificate of a serviceman of the Russian Guard

One example of absurdity is sucking money out of servicemen in favor of military units. We had such a policy in the unit. If needles and threads run out during duty, the orderly buys them at his own expense. For burned out light bulbs, broken items in the toilet ( e.g. cranes) is paid by the company officer on duty. There was a case when the window smashed the glass with the wind, and the sergeant bought a new one at his own expense. In the dog center for a missing or broken bowl, all contractors are thrown off. Once they threw off the whole platoon, including conscripts, on new cuttings for shovels and panicles. Hozpacket ( which cannot be used, it is for show), notebooks and a pen must have every soldier, but be kind enough to buy at your own expense. The officers told us this: “Why are you being given money? Yes, so that you buy essential things, and not go to eat in a cap. ”. [Chepok - a soldier's tea house on the territory of a military unit. Red.] I had the imprudence to ask a couple of times: "What are you getting paid for?". My poor cockade. Monetary allowance in our unit: a conscript - 1000 rubles, a corporal - 1300 rubles.

There is also a certain norm of toilet paper and soap, but there was always not enough of it, and, again, I had to buy it at my own expense. And in the cap it ends quickly, you have to have time to buy it.

I was never given the second pair of berets that I was supposed to have. Fortunately, the demobilization was left. Bertsy wear out quickly, this is not a Soviet tarpaulin boot for you. One comrade in my unit changed 5 pairs in a year. I wore out three pairs and that because I sewed them up often. The ankle boots get wet, so hyperhidrosis is very popular, and here it is better to get an ointment so that the legs do not stink and do not interfere with sleep. That is, if the uniform is worn out before it is supposed to, “find, steal, give birth, buy”, but it must be in the proper form.

You can write a separate article about Yudashkin's form. This is a clear sabotage! I will say briefly. This is not the old Soviet one for you. You get cold in the winter and sweat in the summer. She is not breathing and very uncomfortable. Threads constantly stick out of it, and it often breaks. It is necessary to set them on fire carefully, because the form burns well.

On the study of military affairs and physical education

During the year of service, I shot from a machine gun 10 times with 10 rounds, and once at night firing. Not every one of my peers can boast of such a thing! There are sergeants in our unit who cannot pull themselves up on the horizontal bar.

In the dog center we had a secret corner, made by the previous calls. There were bars, two barbells, a punching bag, benches and dumbbells. We ran there when we had a rare free minute. The officers did not go there, because it was next to the women's toilet. It's a pity, but our secret corner and regular sports quickly stopped. It was discovered by female sergeants and all the simulators were removed from there.

During the day, we need to have time: paint, whitewash, pluck the grass, carry weights, feed and water the dogs, and clean up after them. When half of the platoon is in outfits, and four dogs are attached to you, then even with great desire and enthusiasm, there is no time left to play sports. And I always want to sleep because of the outfits. There is little free time: before dinner and after it. It happened that we were driven out to the stadium to make faces for show, but I don’t even want to comment on this.

About dogs

Hardly a tenth can do what it's supposed to do. We have several ostentatious dogs in the unit for all kinds of checks, competitions and excursions ( a kindergarten and a school sometimes came to visit us in the military unit). The rest are for show. And sometimes it comes to complete insanity. I had a dog with its head on its side (disabled) in my platoon, you can’t even put a collar on it. I asked the officers why we feed this dog, because she is disabled and can't do anything. They answered that they sent a request to Moscow for permission to euthanize disabled people, but they ignore it there, and without permission it is impossible.

Dogs simply have no time to train! Yes, and there is no desire, especially among conscripts. The whip is such an incentive. If a soldier has the opportunity to rest, take a nap or get stuck on the phone (which are forbidden, but everyone still has it, despite the shmons), he will do it, regardless of the risk of being punished.

Briefly about the daily routine

Rise at 5:45, morning toilet - and to the dog center. There it is supposed to walk dogs for 15 minutes, but rarely, when it was possible to get us to walk them for more than 5 minutes. If the duty officer in the center left or didn’t care, then the dogs might not be walked at all. Still, there is not enough time for a full-fledged walking.

Then they themselves went to breakfast at 8:00, after which they divorced. Here, too, not without insanity. If there is dog excrement in the enclosure, it means that idle soldiers did not clean it up in the morning.

Then lunch at 14:00. After another divorce. Usually they were not carried out quickly, because on it the unit commander must not only give predictable tasks to each platoon, but also emotionally, with introductory words, explain to each contract soldier how bad he is and why.

And if a test is planned, then there is no time for classes with dogs. This is where the work begins. Part must be licked thoroughly. But this is the topic of a separate article, because there are so many absurd moments to tell that there is enough for a book. Painting grass is just the tip of the iceberg!

About dog nutrition

I don’t know how and by whom the norms are calculated, but dogs usually don’t even eat half. I have to throw it away, because. You can’t reuse food, and there’s nowhere and no reason to store it. Dogs up to 3 months were fed milk, from 3 to 6 months - porridge ( with meat, eggs), from 6 months - dry food. Every day, a beef leg, a bag of dry food, milk, eggs, cereals, and fish were brought to the center from the warehouse. About half of this good will be in the trash by the evening.

About food for soldiers

It's ambiguous here. Some ate and others didn't. Soups, cereals, mashed potatoes, eggs, butter, etc. There was almost no meat! Veins, bacon boiled in soup, but not meat.

But what really pissed me off was that were not allowed to drink. Pour half a mug - be satisfied. In the summer, okay, at least a flask helps out, but again, not without absurdity. The flask should always be full, and immediately after the dining room, a divorce, where they check the appearance of this flask. There are washbasins in the dining room, but there is almost always no water there, only before checks. If we were lucky, we collected water already in the center from taps, from which we pour water for dogs. If you're not lucky, then usually a flask "pierced the kidney." And that's not even the worst part! It happens that they will give you a burnt compote in the dining room, from which you can only spit. Juice is given, but very rarely. Once they gave juice with bleach.

Another case with bleach was when the water was turned off in the unit. A car arrived with a barrel to give us a drink, so someone was smart enough to throw bleach there. I don't care, I always drank from the faucet in the washbasin, because the water there is not so nasty.

We didn’t have any buffets or other fairy tales from the federal media. The dining room is occupied by the commandant's company. The conscripts are busy cutting bread, peeling potatoes and mopping floors. The contractors prepare food.

In the evening, you can take time off from the responsible officer in a cap. The only place where there were civilians. It is dangerous to go there alone, we ask for leave in a group. Three times I got into a group of non-Russian guys who begged for money. The first time they interceded, a contract soldier from my unit approached in time. The second time I ran away. And on the third, as they say in the army, "I believed in myself" - I barked at them, and they fell behind.

About camaraderie

Theft and sneaking is highly developed. Contempt for the higher authorities in combination with sycophancy is present at all levels of the military hierarchy. And this is the fault of at least half of the military. The community and national chauvinism are very strongly developed, which often develops into skirmishes with non-Russian colleagues. Gender inequality is pronounced. Female sergeants have significant privileges and indulgences. They take advantage of this and can snitch on you if you don’t please them in some way. This is especially true for conscripts.

About officers

They basically do not shine with intelligence and decency. So, out of twelve officers in my unit, only four were adequate and competent ( in my subjective opinion). Officers do all sorts of nonsense like bureaucracy. They have no time to educate and train soldiers. And no desire.

We had one officer, a rare bastard. He liked to beat him in the face at the slightest pretext, to mock the soldiers in every possible way, to humiliate and insult them. He used to make me run right after the canteen, and so on. In every possible way amuses his ego and sadistic inclinations. Four times conscripts in full strength refused to carry out his mocking orders.

Not all officers sympathize with the current government, but they are afraid to talk about it openly. Although from time to time slip notes of malice towards the government. It was somehow, one officer poured out his soul to me and said that he did not want to serve in such an army when he went to the school. Similar thoughts sometimes popped up in other officers.

As I understand them. I also joined the army voluntarily, having heard enough of my comrades who served in the Soviet army. For me, service is a family tradition. A rite of passage. But now no one gets what they expect from her. Now the army is not an army, but a circus of absurdity.

In the armed forces, all the ills of society appear in a more obvious and exaggerated form. I realized this during the service and was horrified by how much the minds of people in our country are poisoned by chauvinism, stereotypes and prejudices.

Now imagine that the war has begun. How will such armed forces fight, which are rotten by bureaucracy, nationalism, selfishness, careerism and other ailments?

In my letter, I tried to give a relatively brief, superficial assessment. Thank you for attention!

From the editor: Under socialism, Russia had class enemies in the face of the capitalist powers. Now Russia is trying to compete with these countries for influence on the world market. Her main enemy is her own people. Therefore, the federal army is in critical condition, devastation reigns in them and. At the same time, the Russian Guard is being tried to fight the Russians.

Such a policy, if not stopped, will inevitably lead to the death of the country.
